About SentiMentality
SentiMentality was founded in 2024 by a group of LLM tuners and researchers. The organization is run entirely on a volunteer basis by people who want to make a positive impact in the field of AI.
Our mission is to explore the nuances of artificial emotional intelligence through empirical, quantitative research. We investigate how AI systems interpret and respond to human emotions, with the goal of creating more meaningful human-AI interactions. Our paper on this topic as well as our discussion is available further down on this page.
More recently, we have also begun a more in-depth exploration of the fascinating sub-fields of LLM alignment and model welfare. Our first alignment research project is still in progress, but we look forward to sharing the results once completed.
